START Your Attacks in Futsal with These Proven Strategies!
First, let's talk about positioning. This is key. You have to provide yourself for a player with the ball. The player with the ball should always have at least one clear passing line.
- The drill is played on one half of the pitch (can be also played simultaneously on both sides - like shown in the picture);
- 2 Versus 2 plus a Neutral Player;
- Green Number 2 and Green Number 5 have 3 touches on the ball maximum;
- Neutral player can use only 2 touches maximum.
- Green Number 2, Green Number 5 and Green Number 6 can exchange passes several times during one attack - there is no limit in this regard;
- As soon as both Green Number 2 and Green Number 5 cross the middle and as soon as at least one of them touches the ball - Green team gets 1 point.
- After Green team scores 1 point or loses the ball, Neutral Player now plays for Red Team, which now has the ball and tries to score their point.

FAST Futsal Counter Attacks EXPOSED!
FAST Futsal Counter Attacks EXPOSED!
Counter attacks are the bread and butter of futsal. They're what can turn the tide of a game in an instant, catching the opposition off guard and leaving them scrambling to catch up. In a game where possession is key, being able to quickly turn defense into offense can be the difference between winning and losing.
Tips to follow, if you want to score on counter-attacks:
- use as less touches as possible
- use maximum 2 touches on your own half of the pitch and maximum 1 touch on opponent’s half
- as soon as the ball is won, players without the ball must make quick runs into open spaces
- player with the ball should try and find any of these players with the pass
- improve passing and decision-making skills on training sessions
